    Doku (Dokka) Khamatovich Umarov (also called by the Arabized name of "Dokka Abu Usman") (born April 13, 1964) is a major Islamist rebel leader in Russia. Btween 2006 and 2007, Umarov was the underground President of the unrecognized Chechen Republic of Ichkeria (ChRI). He is currently the self-proclaimed Emir of the Russian North Caucasus, which is an unrecognized Islamic state of Caucasus Emirate). He is currently a high value criminal in Russia for the alleged crimes of kidnapping, homicide and treason. He is one of the major terrorist leaders in Russia and claimed responsibility for the Moscow Metro bombings on March 31, 2010. The attacks killed 39 civilians and injured over 60 more.
